Senior Olivia Dupon has had the tough job in soccer playing defense, a position that rarely has a chance to put up gaudy scoring numbers like forwards and midfielders, but who are equally imperative to the success of a soccer team out on the pitch. Dupon is consistently one of the best defenders on the field for either team, and last week was especially noticeable. Coach Aileen Nasypany was not one to let her defender's efforts go unheralded, and had a lot to say about her senior defensive leader.

"She is still a defensive force for us against the top teams in our division and is able to keep the score much closer. We didn’t even have our starting keeper this week and because of her efforts we were still in the game."
