Ben El Hadj had a very strong finish to the 2011 as she was the top finisher for the Urban Knights in the OJAI tournament this past weekend.

The OJAI tournament consisted of over 250 particpants from schools across the country. Ben El Hadj came up big for herself and team as she battled her way through the competition. She easily defeated her first two competitiors in singles play, and made it to the final sixteen. In the round of 16, she fell to the No.5 ranked indivudual in the nation.

Amal also helped carry her doubles partner to a quaterfinal finish in the same tournament. Combined as a team with Phukchampa, the duo battled all the way to the quartefinals before falling to the No.5 nationally ranked team.

Ben El Hadj finished the season with a 14-2 singles record, and a 14-2 doubles record.
