Aweau had a tremendous week for the Urban Knights in their final games of the 2011 season. The senior left her mark by helping lead the team offensively to a 3-2 finish last week.
In five starts Aweau hit .474 going 9-19 at the plate. She recorded at least two RBI in each of the Knights' last four games. She contributed a total of four runs, 11 RBI, two doubles, two homeruns, and two walks throughout the week.
The Fairfield, CA native hit a clutch three run homerun, in the Knights' last outing, to tie the game and force it into extra innings. Alana finished the week with a .545 on base mark, and a .895 slugging percentage.
