Authoring two perfect days at the plate, freshman infielder Riannah Maulupe helped propel Academy of Art softball to sweep Menlo in its four-game Pacific West Conference series.

The first contest on Apr. 11 saw Maulupe record a hit in all four of her at-bats, singling twice before tripling for the first time in her collegiate career and ultimately doubling home the first two runs of what would a four-run ART U rally in the ninth inning toward a 4-0 victory. One day after becoming the 26th Urban Knight to register four hits in a game and finishing a home run short of the cycle, the Photography major went 3-for-3 in the third game of the series on Apr. 12, driving in one of the team's eight runs during an 8-2 win, then plated one of her teammates in the series finale.

Driving in at least one run in three of four games in the series, Maulupe hit .538 (7-for-13) with four runs batted in, two runs scored, one double, one triple, and one stolen base. She ranks second on the team with 16 in runs batted in on the season.
