Junior Zach DuBourdieu was the top finisher for Academy of Art men’s golf this past week at the Sonoma State Spring Invitational on Mar. 25 as his 2-over-par 218 was the best score of his time with the Urban Knights while simultaneously resulting in his best finish with his sixth place ranking out of 86 total golfers.

Paced by his first two rounds, DuBourdieu’s combined 2-under-par 142 through the first day of action is what led to his best performance as a Knight, and was highlighted by getting a hole-in-one to go on Hole 7 of his second round. DuBourdieu's first round 2-under-par 70 ranks as his best singular round in the 2024-25 season as the junior gears up for the Pacific West Conference Tournament.

While Zanichelli led the team individually, he boosted the Urban Knights up the leaderboard to finish the tournament 4th of 15 as a team.
