Senior guard Devin Williams shut down the opposition in Academy of Art University's 86-73 victory over Bethany on Saturday night. Williams' stifling defense resulted in a game-high four steals and held his Bruins counterpart to just one made shot in the contest (1-for-6). Williams now ranks fifth overall in the Pacific West Conference with 1.3 steals per game.

The Gardena, CA native also made a significant contribution on offense with five assists and zero turnovers. Three of Williams' assists came in the opening period as ART U surged ahead with 51 first half points. He added three rebounds as well.
