Academy of Art men's basketball senior forward Isaiah Williams picked up where he left off as the season started this past weekend at the Sonoma State Tip-Off Classic, with the native of Oklahoma leading the team to a win against SF State on Nov. 8.

On the week, Williams averaged 17.5 points per game to rank sixth in the Pacific West Conference rankings, which included a team-high in points against the Gators where the Communications & Media Technologies major put up 24. Williams also collected 10 rebounds in the tournament, while bringing in a block and steal each.

Competing for the second-most minutes on the squad with his 34.5 per game average (ninth in PacWest), Williams came out of the first matches of the season shooting 47.4 percent from the field with four three-pointers made and three assists.
