Academy of Art track & field's Yacouba Gnacko saved his best triple jump of the season for his final attempt at the Fastrack Last Chance Invitational, elevating into the country's top three with the effort.

First of 17 competitors on the day, Gnacko passed more than 10 other Indoor Nationals provisional qualifiers with a 51-3.25 (15.63m) on his final of six attempts on Feb. 23. The performance marked not only his farthest distance achieved this year, but also his fourth time surpassing 51 feet in the indoor version of the event.
