Junior forward Quintin Metcalf made his men’s basketball Academy of Art debut this week and averaged double-digit points off the bench (11.0 per game) while being one of the top rebounders for the squad in both contests, as he brought in 6.5 per game, and averaged 1.5 blocks on the 2-0 week for ART U.

Metcalf shot 10-for-16 (.625) on the week while he averaged 22 minutes per game, and was a monster down low on both offense and defense, causing havoc on the block for the Westmont and Hawaii Pacific big men.

In the game against Westmont on Jan. 5, Metcalf recorded a current season-best 14 points on his young ART U career. He is one of five Urban Knights to average double-digit points on the season, and has the highest average among players off the bench after just two games he has appeared in.
