Thomas Delgadillo, had a pair of multi-hit games in ART U's series versus Concordia. Delgadillo is hitting .418 with five doubles, three triples, and one home run. Senior second baseman
Elijah Smith has hit safely in three straight games, including going 2-4 with a double and one run scored
April 6 versus CUI. The double was his 10th of the season, eighth most in a single season in ART Â U baseball history. He needs seven more in the 15 remaining games to surpass Erick Luna's record of 16 doubles set in 2017. Senior pitcher
Mason Verhees continued the best season of his career with a 5 inning, two hit, one run outing in which he struck out five,
April 5 against Concordia. The winning pitcher that game was junior pitcher
Galen Manhard, who threw 1.2 scoreless innings for the first win of his career.
BIOLA BOMBERS
Biola comes into their series with the Knights with a record of 18-14 overall and 9-11 in conference play. The Eagles started the season strong, winning five straight, with victories over Hope International, Vanguard, and San Diego Christian. BU dropped a pair of games to Hawaii Pacific next then split a doubleheader with the Sharks the following day. PacWest play started against UH Hilo who the Eagles lost three of four too in Hawaii. BU briefly halted conference play to sweep St. Katherine in a three game series, but came back to PacWest play with a series loss to Azusa Pacific and most recently a split with Fresno Pacific. Offensively, Jerron Largusa leads the Eagles with his .345 batting average, although he is closely trailed by Jackson Collins who is hitting .343 and leads the team in home runs with six, and Joey Magro who is slashing .342.
