Academy of Art currently holds the third spot in PacWest rankings for offensive rebounds per game, averaging 14.9 per contest. Offensively, sophomore forward Lily Perkins has emerged as a major offensive threat with 21 or more points in each of her last four games including a season-high 27 versus Dominican. Perkins ranks 12th in the PacWest in scoring at 14.6 points per game. On the defensive side, she along with freshman guard Chanel Stuart both rank among the conference's top eight in terms of steals per game, combining to average 4.0 per game. Behind the team's leading scorer junior guard Brianna Cates (15.9 points per game, seventh in PacWest) and Perkins, Stuart is the third Urban Knight averaging double figures offensively at 11.1 points per game. Junior forward Ines Medina ranks seventh in the conference in rebounding at 8.1 per game, but is now tied for second in offensive rebounds per game specifically (3.0). With 115 offensive rebounds in her career, she finds herself now 10th in program history and remains three blocks away from that top 10.

NAME GAME
Since falling to Academy of Art 83-75 in Oakland on Jan. 19, Holy Names has gone 2-4 with narrow victories over UH Hilo and Fresno Pacific during a seven-game homestand. The Hawks, who carry a 3-16 conference record, are led by Onjalise Carley-Hilliard and Ariana Hernandez whose 13.8 and 13.7 points per game averages rank 16th and 17th in the PacWest. Carley-Hilliard leads the conference with a 51.4 field goal percentage and Hernandez owns the PacWest-lead in three-point field goals made per game (3.2). With the win earlier in the year, ART U rises to 9-4 all-time against Holy Names.

NOTES ON NOTRE DAME
Notre Dame de Namur experienced a four-game losing streak following it 66-46 victory over the Urban Knights on Dec. 8 then fell in six consecutive games before its most recent back-to-back wins hosting Concordia and at Holy Names. Holding opponents to 61.6 points per game, the Argonauts rank second in the PacWest in scoring defense in addition to sitting second in three-point field goal percentage (34.1 percent). NDNU does not have a player among the conference's top 25 scorers, but two Argos, Jordan Rodriguez (2.0) and Lindsay Bates (1.8) can be found in the PacWest's top 10 in terms of three-point field goals made per game. After Notre Dame de Namur's win in December, ART U is now 16-7 in the historical matchup.

HAWAII ROADTRIP ENDS WITH CHAMINADE TOPPING ART U
Fighting back to cut a 17-point deficit to two in the fourth quarter, Academy of Art women's basketball challenged Chaminade in the finale of the Urban Knights' three-game set in Hawaii. Sophomore forward Lily Perkins poured in 24 points despite ART U's 68-57 loss to the Silverswords on Feb. 12 inside McCabe Gymnasium.

LOOKING AHEAD
Though its home games will be finished this season, Academy of Art has one more week of PacWest action on the schedule. ART U is set to travel to Southern California for rematches with Azusa Pacific (Feb. 28) and Biola (Mar. 2).
