PACWEST PLAY CONTINUES

Coming off their first PacWest win of the year, ART U continues conference play at home, facing off against Biola on Thursday and Point Loma on Saturday.

ART U will kickoff against Biola in San Francisco Thursday, Sept. 27 at 1:00 p.m., and Saturday Sept. 29 at 2:30 p.m. versus Point Loma. KNIGHT WATCH
Forward Anissa Wilson continued her remarkable junior year Saturday against Dominican when she scored the game winning goal in the 85th minute to give Academy of Art their first PacWest win and sixth overall win of the season. Wilson leads the Knights with ten points on four goals and an assist. She also ranks second in goals and points in the PacWest conference.

EAGLES KICK OFF CONFERENCE
Biola comes into the match with an overall record of 2-3-2. This will be their first official conference matchup, however their last two games have been against PacWest schools, first dropping a 1-0 match to Point Loma and most recently tying Concordia 3-3 after two overtime periods. The Eagles are led by Sarah Jeffries who has eight points on three goals and two assists. The Knights are winless against the Eagles down 0-2 in the overall series. In their most recent meeting Biola defeated ART U 3-0.

SEA LIONS VISIT THE BAY 
Point Loma started the year with an impressive 5-1 overall record and 1-0 PacWest record with their only loss coming from a No.7 ranked Western Washington. Most recently they exploded for five goals while shutting out Fresno Pacific for their first conference win.  The five goal game ended a streak of four straight 1-0 wins. Julia Glaser has been an offensive force for the Sea Lions, leading in almost every PacWest offensive category, including shots (28), goals (5), points (11), and game winning goals (4). On every previous meeting Point Loma has prevailed over the Urban Knights. The Sea Lions lead the overall series with a record of 6-0.  

WOMEN'S SOCCER CAPTURES FIRST PACWEST WIN
Academy of Art women's soccer earned their first PacWest victory in the late minutes of Saturday's defensive showdown against Dominican. Junior forward Anissa Wilson continued to impress as she scored her fourth goal of the year to propel the Urban Knights to their 1-0 victory.

LOOKING AHEAD
Academy of Art will host one game the following week against UH Hilo Thursday Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. ART U will have a week without games before returning to PacWest play to take on Notre Dame de Namur Thursday Oct. 11 in Belmont, Calif.
