HOME/AWAY SPLIT
After playing their last eight games on the road, Academy of Art baseball is back at home for a home/away split series with Holy Names. ART U will host two single games and HNU will host a doubleheader on the final day.

The series will consist of two single games and a doubleheader beginning on Thursday, March 29 at 6:00 p.m.

KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
Senior outfielder
Jackson Murphy was named one of this week's Athletes of the Week after putting together an impressive series against Biola over the weekend. Overall, he posted a .461 (6-for-13) batting average with a .529 on-base percentage, totaling: seven runs batted in, five runs, two doubles, and one home run. His biggest performance came in
game two when he had a 4-for-4, 5-RBI performance which both tied ART U single game records. In between games two and three, Murphy also enjoyed a stretch of reaching base six-consecutive times. For a comprehensive look at the Urban Knights' stats this season,

HAWKS LOOKING FOR FIRST PACWEST SERIES WIN
Holy Names is currently 7-18 overall in 2018 with a 3-13 conference-mark. In their four PacWest series so far this season, HNU has yet to come away with more than one victory in each. Nonetheless, in their most recent faceoff with Azusa Pacific, the Hawks became the first team to take a game from No. 1-ranked Azusa Pacific at home. They also joined Dixie State and Fresno Pacific as the only schools to have defeated the Cougars this season. Holy Names has two players currently batting over .300 with Jahshua Jones leading the team with a .333 batting average in 90 at-bats. Aiden McIntyre has been HNU's strongest starting pitcher so far this season: in seven starts he has produced a 5.72 earned run average in 39.1 innings pitched with 59 strikeouts during that time.

Entering Sunday's doubleheader with the series tied at one game apiece, the Urban Knights and Eagles each took one game in the twin bill as ART U's 6-0 shutout in game two propelled the Knights to a series split with Biola.
