OFF TO THE SWAMP
The Urban Knights head across town to face SF State in their final non-conference matchup on Wednesday, September 13. Academy of Art will look for their first win against SFSU as this will be just the third time that two programs have gone head-to-head.

Wednesday's match against the Gators will take place at 1:00 p.m. at SF State's Cox Stadium.

KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
Senior
Abigail Chavez has the only goal for ART U in the early-goings of the season, coming on a penalty kick against
Western State. The midfielder has started all three matches for the Urban Knights, compiling a total of 263 minutes. Eight other ART U players have started every contest thus far including junior defender
Chayney Mata who has logged every minute of the season.
GATORS ON A THREE-GAME STREAK
After dropping their first match 2-1 in double overtime to Concordia (Ore.), SF State has gone on to win each of their last three contests. Their streak includes two shutouts and they have outscored their opponents 9-1 during that time. Laura Shey leads the team with four goals to this point in the season which is tied for the third-most in the CCAA.
PREVIOUS MATCH: ART U DROPS INTERDIVISION MATCH TO UC MERCED
Sept. 8 - Academy of Art closed out Friday's match with UC Merced having amassed 11 shots. However, unable to capitalize on their opportunities, the Urban Knights fell 3-0 to an effective Bobcats offense.
LOOKING AHEAD
After Wednesday's contest with SF State, Academy of Art will prepare for their first PacWest match of the season, coming on September 21 at Notre Dame de Namur.
