After returning from St. George, Utah the Urban Knights are home for their annual home/away series with Holy Names. The four games will take place over two days with a pair of doubleheaders. KNIGHTS OF KNOTE
Junior outfielder
Kyle McGraw has steadily raised his batting average over past month and now leads the team, batting .318. Junior outfielder
Izac Bauer leads the team in power however. He currently leads the team in home runs (3), runs batted in (19), hits (36), and total bases (52), while also adding five doubles and a triple. On the pitching side, senior left-hander
Jacob Green leads all relievers with a 2.37 earned run average and 30.1 innings pitched. Senior righty
Brett Bovee leads ART U's starting rotation with a 2.87 ERA which is the eighth-lowest in the conference. Bovee also has the fourth-most innings pitched in the PacWest (62.2) and is tied for second-fewest home runs allowed (1).

HAWKS STARTING TO GET HOT
After dropping 14 of 16 contests, including a streak of 11-consecutive losses, Holy Names has turned things around as of late, winning four of their last six games including splitting with California Baptist. The Hawks have yet to string three wins in a row this season, but they have won two straight heading into the series with Academy of Art. Chris Gnos leads HNU in a few offensive categories including: batting average (.322), RBI (23), and doubles (10). Gnos has played in all 37 games this season and has started in 36.

LOOKING BACK: FERNANDEZ HIGHLIGHTS SERIES FINALE LOSS

Alex Fernandez kept Academy of Art close on Saturday, but the Trailblazers eventually prevailed, scoring five late runs to take the series finale 6-2.

Making his first start since March 18 at Hawaii Pacific, Fernandez was dominant through 6.2 innings pitched. The Napa, Calif. native allowed four runs (three earned) and surrendered just two hits through his first 5.2 innings of work. His 6.2 frames matched his career-high which was also recorded on March 13 at UH Hilo.
