KNIGHT WATCH

Despite no longer ranking first in the PacWest in service aces per set, Academy of Art is still among the leaders at fourth overall (1.57). Soolsma remains the program's top offensive option, averaging 3.21 kills per set which is good for seventh in the conference. After putting up five or more blocks in three of her past four matches, Winkler is back among the PacWest's top 10 in blocks per set (0.96) at ninth overall. Freshman utility
Ashley Pawlak has put up 31 aces on the year and now sits just 11 behind the program's single-season record of 42 set by Kanoe Irvine in 2014. Sophomore setter

NAME GAME
Since the Urban Knights' sweep of Holy Names on
Oct. 22, the Hawks have not won a set in seven matches. Â HNU is 0-27 on the year after falling to Notre Dame de Namur and Fresno Pacific most recently. Summer Williams, who led Holy Names offensively in the previous matchup with ART U, remains the owner of the top kills per set average (1.92) on the team. Following the Knights' win earlier this year, Academy of Art is up 14-4 all-time against Holy Names.
ON POINT
After ART U completed its 3-1 come-from-behind victory over Point Loma on
Oct. 7, the Sea Lions have gone an even 5-5, recently concluding their final homestand with wins over UH Hilo and Hawaii Pacific. PLNU is 8-10 in conference, currently tied with Dominican for seventh in the PacWest standings. The conference leader in digs per set at 5.79 (19th in the country) is Holley Persson  while two Sea Lions are among the PacWest's top six in terms of service aces per set including Julia Malinas (0.44) and Emily Coleman (0.37). Continuing the all-time series, ART U is 1-5 against Point Loma.
DIXIE STATE EDGES ACADEMY OF ART IN THREE OF FOUR SETS
In four sets that were decided by three points or less, Academy of Art University Volleyball ended up falling to Dixie State 3-1 (25-23, 25-22, 22-25, 25-22) on
