URBAN KNIGHTS' 2016 HOME DEBUT
After opening the season on the road against Simon Fraser and No. 3 Western Washington, Academy of Art faces off with Western Oregon in their first home match of 2016. The Urban Knights will compete again on Sunday when they head to Chico State to take on the Wildcats.

KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
Over the weekend, sophomore goalkeeper
Morgan Wirz matched and then exceeded her career-high saves total with nine in the
match against Simon Fraser and 11 versus
Western Washington. Wednesday will also mark the home debut for seven incoming Urban Knights. They include:

Mikayla Lopez,
Jenny Wittor, and
Emily Stambaugh.
WOLVES LOOKING TO REMAIN PERFECT
Western Oregon comes into Wednesday's game with a 1-0 record after defeating George Fox 1-0 in their season opener. In 2015, the Wolves finished 8-8-1 overall and 4-7-1 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference which was good for seventh place. WOU comes into the year with a senior-heavy team, touting nine players who are in their final year of eligibility.

WILDCATS LOOKING TO CARRY 2015 MOMENTUM
In 2015, Chico State finished the season with a strong, 12-5-2 overall record and went 8-3-1 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (2nd place). This season, the Wildcats are currently 1-0-1 after defeating California Baptist 2-1 in Thursday's season opener and tying Azusa Pacific 0-0 on September 3. Chico will have two more matches under belts before hosting ART U on Sunday as they take on both Seattle Pacific and Holy Names
.

Sept. 4 - Academy of Art women's soccer struggled to find a rhythm against No. 3 Western Washington, falling 3-0 on a day where WWU only allowed one shot on goal.
