KNIGHT WATCH

Junior guard
Rodericka Ware remains the team's leading scorer now at 16.0 points per game (fifth in the PacWest Conference). She continues to serve as a major threat from long range with 30 of her 48 points coming from beyond the three-point arc (her 3.3 3-pointers made per game are tied for the conference lead) while she averages a 2.3 steals along with 3.0 assists per game. A breakout game against Stanislaus State (16 points, eight rebounds) has junior forward
Helena Orts now second on the team in scoring (10.0 points per game) while the Knights' leading rebounder is still senior forward
Pre'Franz Dominick at 7.7 boards per game (eighth in the PacWest). Fourth in the conference in three-point percentage, junior guard
Hayley Pryor has converted six of her 12 attempts from distance and is averaging 7.7 points per game.
SIMON SAYS
One of four teams with four wins in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, Simon Fraser makes its second trip to California this week after going 2-1 in the CCA Division II Tipoff Classic in Anaheim. The Clan opened the year with a loss to No. 2 California Baptist then rattled off wins over Augustana, Colorado School of Mines, Colorado Mesa, and Dixie State. SFU will face Dominican on Nov. 22 prior to facing ART U. Ranked fifth in the GNAC in scoring, Meg Wilison's 17.4 points per game lead The Clan while Ellen Kett paces the team in both rebounds (7.8 per game) and assists (7.2 per game). Academy of Art and Simon Fraser have met three times prior and SFU holds a 3-0 advantage.
HEAVY LUMBER
Still in search of their first win through their first four games, Humboldt State has traversed a tough schedule thus far, facing Western Washington, Seattle Pacific, Cal State San Marcos, and No. 2 California Baptist. The Lumberjacks will play Holy Names on Nov. 22 prior to their Thanksgiving Shootout opener against the Knights. Catharine Rees, primarily a deep threat, has been the leading scorer for HSU to date with a 13.3 points per game average and 14 3-pointers made of her 18 conversions from the field. In five previous matchups, the Jacks own a 4-1 advantage against ART U.
PIONEERS OF THE EAST
Currently 2-2 with wins over Saint Martin's and Dixie State, Cal State East Bay now looks ahead to its annual tournament where the Pioneers will face Dominican on Nov. 26 before the Knights in the finale. CSUEB comes off its best season to date as the Pioneers won the California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament Championship and reached the NCAA Tournament in 2015-16. The team's leading scorer, Shomari Harris (16.5 points per game), is a transfer from Texas A&M Commerce and has settled in with a nice complement in Bri Guillory (16.0 points per game). All-time, Academy of Art is 5-1 against Cal Sate East Bay.
LATE RALLY GIVES WARRIORS EDGE OVER ART U
Back in California for its third game of the season, Academy of Art University women's basketball carried a lead into the third quarter, but a critical 9-3 run by Stanislaus State led the Warriors to a 67-61 victory in the end. Ware paced ART U for the third time this year, finishing with a game-high 19 points inside Warrior Arena on
Nov. 16.
LOOKING AHEAD
The month of December brings the start of PacWest Conference play with a contest at Fresno Pacific (Dec. 1) and hosting BYU-Hawaii (Dec. 5) up first for the Knights.
