FINAL HOMESTAND OF 2016
Academy of Art women's soccer returns home for their final homestand of the 2016 season. Their first opponent will be Notre Dame de Namur, followed by Hawaii Pacific.
KICKOFF

KNOTABLE KNIGHTS
Sophomore goalkeeper
Morgan Wirz played well against Dixie State on
October 22, recording nine saves which ties her second-highest mark of the season. With 79 thus far, Wirz is tied for the most saves in the PacWest. The Graphic Design major also leads the conference with 6.58 saves per game.
ARGOS LOOK TO GET BACK ON TRACK
Notre Dame de Namur has dropped their last five matches, all of which have been on the road. The Argonauts are currently tied for 10th in the PacWest with a 4-8-2 overall record and are 2-6-1 in the conference. Susan Whitney leads the team with 14 points, but her four goals are second to Maritza Gomez who has five.
SHARKS IN NINTH
Hawaii Pacific currently holds ninth-place in the conference with a 3-10-1, 3-6-0 (conference) record. The Sharks are currently playing in a seven-game homestand, but have lost five of their first six contests. Kai Hasegawa leads the team with five goals and 11 points, but Sky Nanoo and Lei Kaina are tied for the most assists with two apiece.

Oct. 22 - Academy of Art women's soccer (1-12-1, 1-7-1 PacWest) traveled to Dixie State on Saturday looking to take home a win to close out their second-to-last road trip of the season. However, the Trailblazers' offense prevailed, shutting out the Urban Knights with a 2-0 victory.
LOOKING AHEAD
Academy of Art will head to Southern California for their final two games of the season, taking on California Baptist on November 3 and Concordia (Calif.) in the 2016 finale on November 5.
