San Francisco, CA — The taste of victory is fresh for the Academy of Art University men's soccer team and it will try to continue feasting upon opponents at noon Saturday when the Urban Knights conclude their longest homestand of the season with a PacWest match versus Dominican (Calif.) at CCSF.

The Urban Knights (3-5, 1-1 PacWest) are coming off a 3-0 shutout victory over Hawaii-Hilo Saturday for their first PacWest win of the season. ART U is 2-1 on its current four-game homestand and has a 3-2 overall home record this season.

ABOUT DOMINICAN (CALIF.)The Penguins (0-7-1, 0-2-0 PacWest) have endured the true definition of hard-luck losses this season with six of their seven defeats coming by one goal. Three of their last four losses have been of the 1-0 variety, including a 1-0 golden goal setback in double overtime at home versus Chaminade (Sept. 25). Dominican has fallen to similar opponents as ART U in Chico State and Cal State San Bernardino.

Martin Gonzalez has two goals on just three shots this season to lead the Penguins, though it is Kolby Mitnick who has taken the most shots on the team with 14. Erik Anderson has been Dominican's lead goalkeeper this season, holding opponents to a 1.34 goals against average with 27 saves.

TWICE IS NICEJay Eldon hadn't scored this season until Saturday. And when he did – he did so twice. Eldon scored on two separate free kicks against Hawaii-Hilo to help lead the Knights to a 3-0 win and even their PacWest record. Eldon scored in both halves, first in the 21st minute and again in the 82nd.

Alejandro Escobedo earned his second shutout win of the year Saturday against Hawaii-Hilo. That dropped his goals against average from 2.42 to 2.09 and evened his season record to 3-3 in his rookie season. He also added five saves to bring his season total to 25.
