ON THE APPROACH
The Knights jumped right back into the mix in the PacWest with two wins last week against Dominican and Holy Names. This week they'll play their first game away from home since September 8th at Simon Fraser, taking on Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont.

BARKER, KNIGHTS AT BREAKING POINT(S)
Beth Barker has been in the thick of it on the offensive end of the pitch for the Urban Knights, and after the first half of the season is already on the verge of breaking the single-season record for points and goals, both set by Margret Thorolfsdottir last season. The Knights have already matched their win total and surpassed their points total from last season in a year where they have averaged two goals per game.

CORTES STEERING THE ARGOS
Adriana Cortes has led Notre Dame de Namur with 12 points this year, notching four goals and four assists on 21 shots. Massiel Castellanos also has four goals, but only has nine points so far. The Argos have sandwiched two losses around two consecutive wins against UH Hilo (4-1) and Chaminade (5-1), and the Knights are looking to take advantage after a 2-0 loss to BYU Hawaii.

BEST IN THE BAY CONTINUES
The Urban Knights have now played three Bay Area teams this year, and have emerged victorious after every single one. They defeated Mills College (Oakland) handily by a score of 10-0, and last week took down Dominican (San Rafael) 1-0 and Holy Names (Oakland) 3-1, leaving only one leg left in the South Bay to be the best in the Bay Area pod of the PacWest Conference.

COMING UP SOON
After their six-game home stand, the Urban Knights will play their first conference game outside San Francisco, taking on Notre Dame de Namur next week on Thursday.
