Recap on the Knights: In their 2010 season opener the Urban Knights prevailed over the Cal State Stanislaus Warriors. In game one of the double header, AAU took control and finished with a commanding score of 11-6. In game two, the Warriors provided more competition for the young Urban Knights. The Warriors came back from a two run deficit to take the lead, but the Urban Knights were able to tie things up during the top of the fifth inning. The game was called after the end of the fifth inning due to darkness. The game officially ended in a 5-5 tie.

Urban Knight Highlights: The success in the first two games certainly reflects on the Urban Knights' stats. They currently have five players with a .500 batting average. Juniors Alana Aweau and Ashley Lokey are two of those players. Aweau is 4-8 with a home run, four runs batted in and two runs scored. Lokey is also 4-8 with three runs scored.

Heading to Vegas: The Urban Knights leave for a five game, three-day tournament in Las Vegas, NV. They are competing in the Montana State University-Billings Desert Stinger Tournament. The Knights have the first game of the tournament starting on Friday, February 12th and will conclude their tournament play on Sunday, February 14th.
