Junior forward Alejandro Palos contributed to the success of Academy of Art men’s soccer this week with his performances on the field throughout three matches. Palos scored twice while tacking on an assist as the squad came out of the week with two Pacific West Conference victories against Chaminade and Hawai’i Pacific.

To go along with his five points this week, Palos shot on nine occasions with five on target (.556) in his 203 minutes played. Palos scored in the first contest of the week against UH Hilo on Sept. 25 from a roller he sent in from an assist from senior midfielder/forward Gilly Miller. Palos’ second goal was while battling Hawai’i Pacific on Sept. 30, as he faked right and cut left to curve it past a diving keeper off the far post and in.

Palos is now tied for first place on ART U in total points (8) and ranked within the Top 10 in the PacWest Conference in shots (24), shots on target (13), goals (3), and assists (2).
