For the second consecutive meet, Academy of Art women's cross country junior Grace Southern stayed with the front pack and led the way for the Urban Knights at Stanislaus State's Kim Duyst Twilight Meet on Sept. 9.

Southern ran against nearly 50 total competitors in the day's late hours, remaining among the top six throughout the 6k race. She would elevate into second place by the end, finishing at 21:55.4 just five seconds from her debut mark which ranked eighth in program history.
