2023 NCAA Division II Outdoor Nationals marked the third consecutive year in which Academy of Art track & field's Marie-Jeanne Ourega hoisted a National Championship trophy and added to her ever-growing collection of All-American honors.

Beginning in the long jump on May 25, Ourega was leading the field after her 20-6.25 (6.25m) completion just two attempts in. The next two jumps were both improvements as the defending champion started the final round with her best mark of the afternoon at 21-2.5 (6.46m). The season-best effort not only won her the title for the third straight year, but did so by more than four inches.

In the triple jump on May 27, the Communications & Media Technologies major wasted no time vaulting into the the top four with her first attempt of 41-7.25 (12.68m) then bettered that slightly on her second try. In a final where all nine jumpers had already gone 40-9.5 (12.43m) or greater, Ourega saved her best for last, posting a 42-0 (12.80m) that put her fifth when all was complete.

A four-time Long Jump National Champion with now three from outdoor campaigns and one from this past indoor season, Ourega became an 18-time All-American following her 14 points scored at Outdoor Nationals.
