Continuing to drop his time in the 400m as the weeks have progressed in 2023, Academy of Art track & field's Makarios Page proceeded to deliver his fastest outdoor mark to date for another NCAA Division II Outdoor Nationals provisional qualification at the West Coast Last Chance Meet.

In his lone event of the day on May 7, Page earned first on the day by nearly a full second in the 400m, clocking a 47.26 which, while still fifth-fastest in program history, sits 24th in the nation thus far in 2023.

Page's name can also be found as part of three different Academy of Art 4x400m relays that have run 3:11.00 or faster this season including the nation's leading 3:05.20 which came at the Mt. SAC Relays.
