Robin Black wrapped up the indoor regular season with some of his best work, excelling in the 200m before helping break the Academy of Art track & field record in the men's 4x400m.

At the Indoor Last Chance National Qualifier on Feb. 26, Black lit up the track with his fastest 200m of the season, moving up eight places nationally to 14th at 21.26. Only competition from Stanford and Alabama-Huntsville were ahead of him in the meet as he closes in on only ART U greats Mobolade Ajomale and Jordan Edwards historically in the event. With 4x400m relay teammates Makarios Page, Omodiaogbe Oboh, and Shareez Hamm, Black helped the quartet not only set a new program record of 3:09.76, but also put them sixth in NCAA Division II history. The time has them second in the nation thus far and made Academy of Art one of just two programs to put three marks among the country's top 17.
