Senior libero Isaura Santos highlighted Academy of Art volleyball's three-match week by breaking the program's single-match digs record.

After opening the week with 11 digs at Stanislaus State on Sept. 6, Santos registered double-digit digs for her third consecutive match, collecting 10 in three sets in the Urban Knights' first Pacific West Conference contest of the season against Point Loma on Sept. 9. Less than 24 hours later versus Concordia on Sept. 10, the Communications & Media Technologies major made history with a new ART U single-match record 39 digs in an epic five-set battle. She also registered six service aces to tie Leinani Keanini's program record for a five-set match.

Through 11 matches in 2022, Santos is now tied for third in the PacWest at 4.05 digs per set while leading the team with 14 total service aces and tying for 10th in the conference in service aces per set (0.36).
