Redshirt sophomore forward Hannah Moore struck for not only the first goal of the season for Academy of Art women's soccer, but also the first of her collegiate career to highlight the Urban Knights' opening week of action.

Providing a spark less than three minutes into ART U's match at UC Santa Cruz on Aug. 27, the Architecture major was able to challenge the Banana Slugs goalkeeper with action inside the box before getting her foot on an attempted clearance resulting in the ball crossing the goal line. The score, Moore's first since joining the program, came on the sixth shot attempted in her career and gave Academy of Art its first lead of the season.
