Coming off his journey to become a NCAA Division II All-American in the indoor triple jump, Academy of Art track & field's Mathieu Tshani began his outdoor campaign in impressive fashion at the Cardinal Classic on Mar. 19.

Tshani's third attempt was not only his best on the day at 49-5.5 (15.07m), but he elevated himself to second in the country in NCAA DII. Third in the competition loaded with NCAA DI talent, Tshani quickly added his name to both the list of Outdoor Nationals provisional qualifiers and debuted at fourth in ART U history.
