Junior Amos Maru was again instrumental in a strong showing for Academy of Art University men's cross country this past week. At the 2010 Stanford Invitational on Sept. 25, Maru turned in a new career best time of 24:33. He qualified for 31st place overall among four-year entries on the 8k course. Maru, who competed against runners from #1 Stanford and #4 Northern Arizona in the meet, finished in front of the top finishers from Division I institutions Cal Poly and UC Irvine.
