Making an impressive Academy of Art women's basketball debut, graduate student guard Joy Krupa led the way on both the defensive and offensive ends in the Urban Knights' 70-42 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Nov. 13.

Krupa scored eight points in the first quarter, helping ART U build a 22-7 lead that would never be relinquished. A major contributor to Academy of Art's 22 points off turnovers, she finished the game with seven rebounds, four blocks, four steals, and three assists in addition to a team-high 18 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the floor.
