Capturing a victory in the ITA West Regionals doubles draw was Yun "Nicole" Shiau, earning the victory along with partner Sofia Ragona to claim their spot at the ITA Cup in Georgia later this month. En route to the title, the pair defeated three other seeded opponents, including the top-seeded Colbeyshae Emery and Mary Brascia of Biola. In a match that would come down to the wire, Ragona and Shiau were able to outlast their opponents by a final of 8-6 to be declared the winners of the doubles draw. Additionally, Shiau picked up a couple of wins in the singles draw, advancing to the round of 16 before falling to eventual champion and No. 6 seed Eleanor Liga.
