Posting a win at both the top doubles and singles position, sophomore Sofia Ragona helped guide Academy of Art women's tennis to a 6-1 victory over Dominican in the team's season-opening match on Feb. 13.

Ragona first teamed with Yun "Nicole" Shiau to defeat the Penguins' top pairing of Amber Del Rosario and Zoe Coggins 7-5 then, at the #1 singles spot, Ragona surrendered just a single set in her 6-1, 6-0 triumph versus Del Rosario. It was Ragona's first time competing in the top singles position at ART U.
