Hitting over .300 in each of ART U volleyball's three matches, junior middle blocker Carly Evetts was at the forefront of Academy of Art's attack last week.

The Writing for Film, Television & Digital Media major started off with 12 kills to just one attack error in the Urban Knights' 3-1 thrilling victory over Notre Dame de Namur on Sept. 25. That was followed by her sixth double-digit kill effort as she posted 10 put-aways with only three errors versus Point Loma on Sept. 27. Finally, the junior transfer delivered seven kills to another single attack error in action against Azusa Pacific on Sept. 28.

Evetts averaged 2.9 kills per set while hitting .353 including a .462 clip against APU for her second-highest percentage of the season thus far. She currently ranks second on the team in hitting percentage (.278) among attackers.
