Junior infielder Elijah Smith was named one of this week’s Urban Knights of the Week as he is 6-for-12 three games into ART U baseball’s 3-game series with UH Hilo. Smith has scored three runs, collected three runs batted in, and has notched two triples. The Richmond, Calif. native now leads the PacWest in three-baggers (7) and his total is nearly double the previous ART U single-season record (4). He is just three shy of the overall career triples mark (10) which is owned by Stefen Henderson (2010-13).
