Mobolade Ajomale put his talents on display in three events in the UW Invitational. In the finals of the 60m on Jan. 27, challenging professionals as well as sprinters from Stanford, Washington, and Eastern Washington, he powered to a 6.75 to capture the event title. He remains second overall in DII in the event.

Later in the men's 4x400m relay, Ajomale accepted the challenge of being a significant distance back of event leader University of Washington and proceeded to not only catch but surpass his competitor by a large margin down the final straightaway. In addition to the win, ART U's collective 3:16.01 gave them their first Nationals provisional of the year, putting them now 14th in the country.

Ajomale also posted a 21.61 in the 200m to take second of 50 competitors on the first day of the UW Invite. He remains 4th in DII in the event.
