Senior outside hitter Bailey Soolsma broke out for multiple career-highs throughout the D2 West Region Volleyball Showcase and played a major role in the Urban Knights' 3-2 win over SF State in the finale.

After starting the week with a double-double (13 kills, 10 digs) against Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 7, the Communications & Media Technologies major erupted for career-highs of 20 kills and 19 digs versus Alaska. One day later, she bettered her career-high with 23 kills plus another 10 digs and five blocks in the matchup with the Gators.

For the week, Soolsma averaged 4.19 kills, 2.81 digs, and 1.00 blocks per set and now ranks seventh in the Pacific West Conference in kills per set (3.48).
