Junior center Trent Stokes had a big game Saturday in a 79-71 win at Holy Names and also chipped in on the defensive end Monday at home versus Point Loma.

The reserve role was new to Stokes Saturday after starting 12 of the last 13 games, but he shined brilliantly, tying for the team high in points with 14. He also grabbed five rebounds, tallied two blocks and dished an assist in the victory.

He also had a block on Monday, bringing his record single-season total to 37 and pulling him closer to fourth place on the ART U career list, which is Aaron Aikman with 40.
