Junior forward Réa Laudat made sure Thursday the Academy of Art University women's soccer team didn't leave the East Bay without a victory.
 
Laudat scored two goals to account for all of the Urban Knights' offense while the defense shut down host Holy Names to give ART U its first road win of the season in a 2-0 Pacific West Conference victory over the Hawks at Cal State East Bay's Pioneer Field.

Laudat didn't wait long coming out of the locker room to put ART U on top. Just 81 seconds into the second half, the Essex, England, native finished a pass from freshman midfielder Kendall Bozart inside the box to give the Knights a 1-0 lead. Laudat would ice the victory in the 87th minute with her second goal of the game. Sophomore defender Laura Mick played a ball to Laudat who finished the play with a quick shot to beat the goalkeeper and grab the 2-0 advantage.

It was Laudat's second multi-goal game of the year as she pushed her season total to six goals and 13 points, both among the top-four single-season totals all-time for Academy of Art.
