Junior Valentin Pepiot continued to dominate the intercollegiate 8k with another memorable performance out at Golden Gate Park for the SF State Gator Invitational on Friday, Oct. 10. The Frenchman contended with Luis Luna (unattached) and a host of Southern Oregon runners at the front of the pack all the way through, before using an impressive kick to take command of first place down the home stretch.

In the end, Pepiot would deliver a 24:53.1 mark and was able to enjoy the moment with the excited crowd, high-fiving supporters as he crossed the finish line. Pepiot finished a full 11 seconds in front of the next NCAA Division II runner.
