Newcomer Jordan Thomas started off as one of the hottest Urban Knights hitters out of the gate this past weekend, reaching in eight of nine plate appearances against American Sports University. The Knights shortstop had four hits, three walks, a hit by pitch, and a sacrifice fly in the series, and drove in four runs, three of which in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader. Thomas has also scored four times and notched a steal in Sunday's series finale, and was perfect in the field, showing off a strong arm and soft hands at shortstop.
