It was a week for the defenses as the Urban Knights continued to play close games against their PacWest opponents. ART U's back line, headlined by goalkeeper Rachael Rempe, held reigning PacWest champions California Baptist to only two goals in a close 2-1 contest, while Rempe and the defense starred again to preserve a tie against Azusa Pacific University. Rempe had nine saves in each of the contests, and now has an all-time best 135 saves.

Rempe has shown to make saves in crucial moments, totaling seven of her nine saves on Thursday in the second half and six of nine saves on Saturday in the second half plus the two extra periods to maintain the even score.
