Junior Deanna Tyndall saved her best showing for last for the Academy of Art University women's golf team, finishing third overall at the PacWest Championships after tying for the top spot following the first round. Tyndall shot a 75 in the first round to tie with the eventual winner Haley Dunn, and was right behind the top two spots on the second day.
For her efforts, Tyndall was named to the First Team All-PacWest, along with teammates Lyra Yoe and Crystal Superal. She ended the year averaging an 82 in seven tournaments, and finished strong, adding to her third place finish last week with another top ten finish in the Sonoma State Women's Spring Invitational.
