Senior Jordan Rogers did all she could to help guide Academy of Art University Women's Basketball to its first Pacific West Conference Championship in program history this past week. Averaging 14.7 points and 3.3 three-point field goals made per game, Rogers had one of her best games of the season in a thrilling overtime win versus Grand Canyon in the second round. Should would score a game-high 21 points and nailed three 3-pointers including one to start the extra period to put her team permanently ahead.

In the title game against Hawaii Pacific, Rogers showed just how determined she was to win a conference championship. She drained five 3-pointers, two during a 19-5 second half run by the Knights to put them well in front, in addition to shooting 50 percent from the field and adding two steals. She finished with 17 points, further cemented herself as the program's new single-season scoring leader (405 points), and was named PacWest Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player.

"All I really wanted for my senior year was to win the tournament because I haven't accomplished anything like this in my four years of college," Rogers said. "So to get this win and championship was all I wanted."
