Senior guard Ameer Shamsud-din posted 19 points, six rebounds, and four assists in the Urban Knights 82-58 win over UH Hilo on Saturday. He was 8-for-13 from the floor and 3-for-6 from beyond the arc, while, also chipping in two steals on the defensive end. Shamsud-din is currently ranked first on the Urban Knights and 7th in the PacWest in points per game (16.1), and is continuing his streak of six games with over 10 points. 

"We're a team that likes to get out and run," said Shamsud-din after Saturday's game. "All year we've been preaching that our defense just has to improve, and tonight it was it's best that it has been all season."
