Senior guard Ameer Shamsud-din has started every game for the Urban Knights this year, and last week continued to lead the Academy of Art in scoring, dropping 18 points in last week's 71-68 victory over Simon Fraser. Shamsud-din also had five rebounds and went 5-for-5 from the free-throw line to help seal the deal for the Knights.
The ART U swingman is averaging 15.0 points even, which is good for 10th in the PacWest, and has a .750 percentage from the free-throw line, making 11-of-13 over the past four games. He is also averaging over five rebounds per contest, and is also leading the team with 3.6 assists per game.
