Senior guard Jordan Rogers, one of ART U's many threats this season, caught fire this past Saturday in the Urban Knights' 95-56 victory over Notre Dame de Namur. In the Pacific West Conference opener against a Bay Area rival, Rogers let her performance speak for itself, scoring 20 points (3-of-6 from distance), grabbing six rebounds, and dishing out four assists.
The Sparks, NV native found her stroke from long range early, knocking down her first 3-pointer to give Academy of Art its second and ultimately permanent lead over the Argos. Rogers followed up her nine-point first half with 11 in the second as the Knights commanded a 30+ point advantage for much of the period.
“Jordan had a great game and it was nice to see some shots fall her,” Coach Larson said. “She has been so consistent in so many areas for us this year that don't always show up in the box score.”
