A consistent presence in the ART U midfield this season, sophomore Thorvaldur "Thobbi" Sveinsson was at it again this past week, gaining possessions for the Urban Knights and serving as a vocal leader. Sveinsson made a pair of starts during Academy of Art University's 1-1 week which featured a 1-0 victory over Dominican and a close 2-0 loss to Fresno Pacific. Against the Penguins, ART U earned its first shutout of the season and Sveinsson's determination to keep his squad in control played a major role.

Up against a FPU team that had previously been averaging 5.6 goals per game in its past five matches, Sveinsson captained an impressive defensive effort by the Knights in which they held the Sunbirds to a single goal for 85 minutes of Saturday's match.
