Freshman forward Daniel Higa scored his first two goals since donning an Urban Knights uniform in a 3-2 overtime loss to Notre Dame de Namur University on Sept. 19. Higa came off the bench in the first half and netted his first goal in the 43rd minute which tied the match 1-1. With Academy of Art University trailing by one again in the second period, Higa took a pass from senior midfielder Jaime Patino-Calvo and scored past an approaching Argonauts goalie in the 86th minute. Although the Knights eventually lost the match, it was Higa's offense that ultimately granted AAU the opportunity for an overtime.
